Job Title: Accounts Assistant
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Accounts Assistant to join our close-knit finance team in Cork city.
This is a great opportunity for someone with 1+ years of experience working in a varied accounts role, who has strong attention to detail and enjoys working independently.
Responsibilities:
* Assist the financial department in day-to-day operations, including data processing, payroll, and financial analysis.
* Prepare financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
* Input purchase invoices, check supplier statements, and prepare official reports.
* Assist in preparing management accounts and inputting all purchase invoices for daily transactions.
* Manage suppliers' account records and chase any missing records.
* Prepare and input Visa transactions into SAGE and supplier payment into SAGE.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Economics.
* At least 1 year of experience working in a Finance department.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Experience with Sage 50 Accounts or other accounting packages.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
