Job Title: Senior Marketing Manager

Our client is a leading full-service print and packaging company based in Europe, offering tailored print management solutions across Ireland, the UK, Europe, and the US. They operate a large, state-of-the-art production facility that is home to advanced lithographic presses, bookbinding, carton manufacturing, secure printing, and digital print solutions. Known for their commitment to innovation, customer service, and high-quality output, our client is expanding and seeking a talented and driven Marketing Manager to build and lead their marketing function from the ground up.
Position Overview:
As the first Marketing Manager, this role presents an exciting opportunity to shape and establish the marketing function from scratch. The focus will be on demand generation within the pharmaceutical and medical industries, and this role requires a blend of strategic planning and hands-on execution.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in B2B marketing, full-funnel marketing strategies, demand generation, email marketing, paid and organic social media, content marketing, and marketing analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the business’s objectives, especially in the pharmaceutical and medical sectors.
* Define short- and long-term marketing goals and KPIs for continuous optimisation.
* Collaborate with senior leadership, sales, and product teams to ensure marketing efforts support company goals.
Demand Generation & Lead Nurturing:
* Design and execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns aimed at driving leads and conversions.
* Develop ABM (Account-Based Marketing) strategies targeting key decision-makers in the pharmaceutical and medical industries.
* Optimise lead nurturing strategies with email marketing, marketing automation, and retargeting.
* Leverage SEO, paid search (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads), and organic social media strategies for increased visibility and engagement.
Content Marketing & Thought Leadership:
* Oversee the creation of industry-specific content, such as whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, and social media updates, to position the company as a thought leader.
* Develop webinars, video content, and customer testimonials to drive engagement.
* Ensure all content is optimised for SEO and distributed across appropriate channels.
Event Marketing & Industry Engagement:
* Identify and evaluate key industry events, conferences, and trade shows within the pharmaceutical and medical sectors to maximise the company’s presence.
* Develop event marketing strategies, including pre-event promotions, on-site engagement, and post-event follow-up.
* Explore partnerships, sponsorships, and speaking opportunities to elevate brand positioning.
Digital Marketing & Performance Tracking:
* Implement performance tracking and analytics dashboards to monitor marketing campaign effectiveness.
* Analyse data from Google Analytics, CRM systems, and marketing platforms to optimise campaigns.
* Conduct A/B testing for refining messaging, creative, and targeting.
* Provide regular reports with actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Brand Management & Messaging:
* Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing materials, campaigns, and digital platforms.
* Refine key messaging to clearly communicate the company’s value proposition to clients in the pharmaceutical and medical industries.
* Maintain a strong digital presence via website management, SEO, and paid media strategies.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Partnerships:
* Work closely with sales and business development teams to ensure smooth lead handoff and alignment on sales enablement tools.
* Support internal teams with marketing materials, presentations, and competitive insights.
* Collaborate with external agencies, designers, and freelancers to scale marketing efforts.
Qualifications & Experience:
* 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably within the pharmaceutical, medical, or print/packaging industries.
* Proven success in demand generation, lead nurturing, and full-funnel marketing strategies.
* Hands-on experience with marketing automation tools, CRM platforms, Google Analytics, paid search, and social media advertising.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience managing both paid and organic marketing campaigns with a focus on ROI.
* Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
