About the Role
With exceptional sustainability knowledge and experience, you will be adept at delivering sustainability strategy, customer requirements, training and education, Environmental Product Declarations and data insights and improvements, supporting the European business to achieve its ambitious growth objectives. While largely working in close collaboration with colleagues based in Dublin, frequent travel will be required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver our Low Embodied Carbon (LEC) materials and products strategy across the European Business
2. Work closely with our European Procurement Team to identify and on-board new materials suppliers that can contribute to lower embodied products
3. Engage with our customer base across Europe to understand their sustainability ambitions and how Tate Europe can align
4. Produce and support the production of Environmental Product Declarations, Health Product Declarations, Cradle to Cradle certifications, Materials Passports, Product Data Sheets etc.
5. Collate, report and improve sustainability data requirements both at divisional level and for meeting Planet Passionate commitments which relate to our Group sustainability strategy
6. Audit Planet Passionate sustainability data to determine accuracy, authenticity and fitness for both internal Group and external audit success
7. Run monthly sustainability reports to show progress against Planet Passionate targets
8. Produce appropriate PowerBI reports and Power Point decks to highlight performance and identify areas of improvement
9. Analyse sustainability data and identify insights that can lead to positive change
10. Support the delivery of facility based energy efficiency and renewable energy delivery projects for the European business that directly impact Planet Passionate targets
11. Review existing sustainability reporting processes and ensure they are as efficient and effective as possible
12. Establish new reporting sustainability procedures as targets evolve and implement for the European business
13. Review Environmental Product Declaration data and ensure accuracy prior to 3rd party verification
14. Be the point of contact for Group Planet Passionate reporting for Europe
15. Understand Group reporting systems and work with Group to make efficiencies and improvements
16. Coordinate support for both internal and external data / ISO 14001 auditing
17. Carry out reporting systems training to those that need it
18. Set appropriate deadlines for data reporting and ensure that Group deadlines are met
19. Work with the sustainability team to identify new areas to report against that align with the divisional sustainability strategy
20. Support the sustainability team with marketing material based on data successes
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a data or sustainability role in the manufacturing/building/construction sector
2. Excellent data management, organisation, control, audit and presentation skills
3. Excellent analytical skills
4. Confident using Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Microsoft Office software
5. Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to plan effectively
6. A self-starter with the ability to set own objectives and work effectively under pressure
7. Familiarity with using One Click LCA or similar programs
8. Ability to produce and deliver high impact internal and external presentations
9. BA/BS degree in sustainability or relevant qualification within the building engineering/architecture environment
10. An understanding of the operational process involved in manufacturing and delivering products
