Job Title: Finance Manager
This is a full-time, hands-on role that involves assisting the Financial Controller in all aspects of finance.
* Ensure management accounts and financial reporting are delivered monthly.
* Prepare annual budget and rolling forecasts.
* Manage cash flow forecasts and banking relationships.
* Prepare bi-monthly VAT returns and ensure revenue returns are up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities:
Additional duties include liaising with auditors, managing audit queries, and engaging with internal auditors on finance-related matters.
* Work with department managers to manage costs and control expenses.
* Collaborate with the Credit Controller to improve processes and collections.
* Engage with the Procurement department and Payables to ensure compliance and participate in evaluation panels as required.
* Manage the Exchequer accounting system and develop reports.
* Distribute board reports and provide ad hoc finance data or reports as directed by the Financial Controller or CEO.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A qualification in accountancy (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA).
* At least 3 years of post-qualification experience.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
