Finance Manager (4 Day Week, Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all invoices and receipts are correctly accounted for.
* Process journals on a monthly basis to ensure accurate accruals and provisions or make corrections as necessary.
* Prepare the annual cash flow prediction and update it monthly.
* Ensure the purchase ledger function is complete and coding/inputting of all documentation into the financial system for subsequent payment is carried out.
* Complete bank reconciliations each period and address variances.
* Oversee all credit card and expenses returns.
* Perform Company Secretary duties as required.
* Provide financial reporting (P&L and Balance Sheet) and related information to Board members as requested.
* Prepare Board Reports for board meetings as needed.
* Oversee payroll functions to ensure accurate and timely payments, along with proper deductions.
* Manage pension contributions and payments to ensure accuracy and notification.
* Lead and manage staff to achieve goals and provide services effectively and efficiently.
Requirements:
* Accountant with at least 5 years of financial management experience.
* Exposure to audit processes.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel and relevant software applications.
* Proficiency in financial software packages.
