We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Fractional CFO to join a scaling digital health and innovation company for a 6-month contract.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced CFO to take a leading role in driving strategic financial thinking and decision-making, contributing to the growth and success of the business.
The role is based in Dublin City and offers an attractive daily rate.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the preparation of the Monthly Board Meeting Pack, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Deliver financial insights to Senior Leadership, including monthly flash reports, quarterly deep dives, and financial forecasting.
Establish, monitor, and ensure alignment of financial policies, procedures, and controls across the organisation.
Work closely with senior leadership to identify, develop, and implement financial strategies and process improvements in asset management, procurement-to-pay cycles, and policy development.
Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, VAT group calculations, treasury management, and other financial operations to ensure operational efficiency and financial health.
Conduct financial and business planning, analyse results and performance, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders Supervise outsourced financial functions to ensure accurate and timely delivery of reports and statements.
Qualifications & Experience: Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
Extensive experience as a CFO or in senior financial leadership roles, preferably in a scaling or innovation-focused company.
Proven experience in financial strategy development, financial reporting, forecasting, and driving financial operations to support business growth.
Strong knowledge of VAT group calculations, R&D tax credit submissions, and grant applications.
Familiarity with Apple and Zoho CRM systems is desirable.
Strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively.
