About your role:
We’re looking for a highly motivated ArcGIS and CAD technician who’ll play a key role in our Environment and Planning team! You’ll be responsible for preparing and presenting drawings, figures, and maps using GIS and CAD software in response to requests from across the Assets Development team.
You’ll be carrying out core GIS tasks such as data preparation, collection, analysis and output. You’ll be creating maps and records using ArcGIS software and data collection equipment. You’ll support project Due Diligence, Feasibility and Site Selection appraisals, and will be involved in the construction, editing and maintenance of databases. You’ll also contribute to the preparation and writing of technical reports and other documentation as required.
Here's what we’re looking for:
* You’ll have strong GIS experience and a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in industry
* You’ve got a 3rd level qualification in Geographic Information Systems or similar
* You have experience with ArcGIS extensions such as Spatial Analyst, Insights and Dashboards
* You have consolidated experience in the installation, configuration and maintenance of geographic information systems software
* Experience in using CAD is strongly desirable
* Excellent knowledge of georeferencing and coordinate systems
* Full drivers licence
