We are looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist with 3+ years of hands-on experience to join our client's team in Galway. This role requires a dynamic professional who can troubleshoot complex issues, provide high-level support, and maintain optimal system performance. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations across multiple client environments.
Responsibilities:
* Provide Level 2 and 3 support for desktop, laptop, and mobile devices, including troubleshooting and configuration.
* Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and Office 365.
* Assist with the deployment and maintenance of software applications and updates.
* Resolve complex technical issues escalated from Level 1 support and document solutions.
* Collaborate with IT teams to maintain network security and manage VPNs.
* Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
* Support remote users and provide onsite assistance when required.
Requirements:
* 3+ years of experience in IT support, with strong expertise in troubleshooting Windows OS and Office 365.
* Proficient in managing Active Directory and Group Policies.
* Experience with VPN configuration and network security practices.
* Ability to handle complex technical issues and provide clear, concise documentation.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar are a plus.
