Financial Assistant Position - North Down Area
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Assistant to join our team on a 10-month fixed-term contract basis. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing financial support and administrative assistance to meet the operational needs of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately process invoices and credit notes into our accounting system.
* Ensure timely payment to suppliers in accordance with agreed schedules and terms.
* Assist with and complete balance sheet reconciliations.
* Post and allocate all bank transactions.
* Process credit card purchase requests for both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
* Manage petty cash and debit cash cards for the organization.
* Complete bank lodgements.
* Process expenses for payment.
* Assist with updating bank mandates for the organization.
* Participate in and contribute to internal and external audit processes.
* Assist with month-end processes.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C or above.
* Experience of Excel.
* A minimum of two years' recent experience working in a finance or admin office.
