Role Overview:
We are seeking a Newly Qualified (NQ) Commercial Property Solicitor with excellent academic achievements and who completed a seat in commercial property during his/her training contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to work on complex commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, and development matters. You will be joining a highly experienced team, working under a newly promoted partner and with clients in both the private and public sectors, and have the chance to gain exposure to high-profile matters in a growing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Advising clients on a wide range of commercial property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, and leases.
2. Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as agreements for sale and purchase, leases, licences, and development agreements.
3. Assisting with the due diligence process on property transactions.
4. Conducting legal research and providing practical advice on property-related issues.
5. Managing client relationships and providing regular updates on the progress of transactions.
6. Working alongside senior solicitors and partners on complex matters, gaining exposure to all stages of commercial property transactions.
7. Participating in business development activities and contributing to the growth of the firm’s property practice.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. A strong academic background, ideally with a first-class or 2:1 degree in Law, or a similar academic qualification.
2. Admitted to the roll of solicitors.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
5. A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and professional development.
6. A genuine interest in commercial property law and the real estate sector.
7. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
