Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Salmon Farmer based in Galway, Western Ireland. The Salmon Farmer will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks involved in salmon farming operations, including feeding, monitoring fish health, maintaining equipment, and ensuring environmental compliance.
Qualifications
* Experience in aquaculture or fish farming
* Knowledge of salmon behavior and best practices in salmon farming
* Ability to work in a team and independently
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
* Knowledge of water quality management
* Experience in operating farm equipment and machinery
* Education in aquaculture, marine biology, or related field is a plus
