Position Summary: The position will be located at the Ringaskiddy site and will be part of the Make Asset Management (MAM) Group.
Its main responsibility will be to act as the primary ES site contact for Global and CoE teams and to lead a team of DeltaV engineers in the delivery, support and maintenance of site DeltaV systems, including upgrades, system performance, vendor management, production & Development Systems, library standards and DeltaV network Infrastructure.
Main duties and responsibilities: Primary interface for the Delta V CoE for standards development & deliveryAccountable for specific KPIs on the Delta V systemLead the Governance across the Site for Delta V standards maintenanceDelivery and execution of the Site Delta V strategyLead the lifecycle management of the systemPartner with the ES Strategy & New Technology Lead on Test & Learn of new technologies as Site SMEDelta V Infrastructure Technical Owner & System SME for the siteLead the Vendor Management process for the Delta V systemLead the Delta V Standards & Infrastructure team to deliver on key strategic projectsKey Skills and Competencies required: Leadership and development of all colleagues within the departmentCustomer focused and results drivenStrong decision making and problem-solving skillsCollaboration and teamwork across site functions and other JSC / J&J sitesDemonstrate Integrity and Credo-based actions at all timesQualifications Education and Experience: Third level Degree in engineering, science or an IT discipline.Minimum of 5 years of Leadership and Delivery ExecutionMinimum of 8 years of experience within a pharmaceutical or GMP regulated manufacturing environment.Experience in supervision/management of people and resourcesIn-depth Technical knowledge of S95 Level 1 systems such as Emerson DeltaV, OSI Pi, PLCs, IT Infrastructure & Hardware.Key appreciation of Industrial Automation Networks and their Communication Protocols.Strong MES (preferably in Werum PAS-X) and DeltaV Batch Control experience along with process knowledge for Upstream, Downstream and Bio Processing Support functions.Good understanding of S95 level 4 systems and their capabilities such as ERP, Quality Systems, Data warehouses & CDL.In-depth understanding of the ISA S95 & S88 standards and how they should be used within the Global Supply ChainGood appreciation of Industry 4.0/IoT and how we can effectively drive to transform within this frameworkGood understanding of the developing Digital World to transform BiopharmaJohnson & Johnson Family of Companies are equal opportunity employers, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
