ABOUT THE JOB:
The role of Appliance Installation Assistant in Harvey Norman involves assisting our drivers with deliveries and appliance installations of goods in our customer’s homes. You will interact with our customers and provide amazing customer service experiences which help make Harvey Norman a great place to shop. This is a “white glove” in-home delivery/installation operation.
YOUR JOB – your tasks will include:
1. Assist with loading and unloading delivery vans safely.
2. Assist with the delivery of appliances direct from our warehouses or stores to our customer’s homes.
3. Call Harvey Norman Customers in advance of delivery to confirm estimated time of arrival.
4. Assist with the installation of appliances and/or furniture assemblies.
5. Remove old products and packaging.
6. Answer all phone calls/queries regarding deliveries from our Customer Delivery Office.
7. Care for Proof of Delivery paperwork.
8. Keep the delivery van clean and tidy at all times.
9. Be an ambassador for the Harvey Norman brand and installation & assembly/delivery service.
10. Adhere to the company's Policies and Procedures at all times.
11. Perform other related duties as required.

Additional Information:
1. This is a Full Time - 11 month fixed term contract with a 6 month probationary period and potential for permanency.
2. We need employees to be flexible about when they work, covering store opening hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
3. The successful candidate will be required to attend a company induction day.
