Our client, a global leader in the Financial Services sector is seeking a Director of Real Estate to join their team on a Permanent basis. The Facilities & Operations team manages a safe, productive workspace and oversees best-in-class real estate operations across international locations. The Director, Facilities & Operations, based in Dublin, will oversee approximately 130,000 square feet of office space across Dublin, Galway, London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and other locations. They will drive asset value through effective expense management, infrastructure planning, and addressing associate needs. This role involves collaboration with internal and external partners and reports to the VP, Facilities & Operations, with global peer support.
The Expertise You Have
* Bachelor’s degree in business, facilities management, architecture, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
* A graduate degree in a related field is desirable.
* 10+ years of progressive real estate management experience is preferred.

* Strong expertise in project management, property and asset management, facilities management, real estate finance, and leasing, with particular strength in at least one area.

* Overseeing daily facilities management functions, including operational risk management, vendor management, critical infrastructure, repairs, amenities, cleaning, landscaping, and more.
* Ensuring outsourced teams deliver quality property and facilities management services while focusing on risk mitigation and operational excellence.
* Overseeing financial stewardship, including expense reviews, budget tracking, and cost control in collaboration with finance teams.
* Developing and presenting annual and multi-year regional operating and infrastructure plans to senior leaders.
* Collaborating with other teams to align priorities, implement regional programs and projects, and maintain consistent engineering standards.
* Building partnerships with security, infrastructure, and resiliency teams to ensure contingency needs are met during disruptions.
* Supporting sustainability efforts by implementing environmentally friendly initiatives.
* Drafting and communicating action plans for building disruptions or campus projects.
