The Opportunity
We are a leading global company seeking a talented and enthusiastic Graduate Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role, you will support our Marketing and Business Development Teams in designing and producing high-quality marketing collateral, adhering to both our brand guidelines and those of our clients. You’ll work on a variety of creative projects, contributing from concept through to final delivery.
As a Graduate Graphic Designer at Arup, you will be:
Guided by senior designers, this role involves developing and executing on-brand print and digital visual communications to support business activities, including:
* Marketing materials (e.g., brochures, leaflets, invitations, displays)
* Technical reports
* Bid submissions
* Infographics and illustrations
* Posters and presentations
* Internal and external communications collateral
* Film, visualisation, and motion graphics
You’ll work independently and collaboratively within the creative team, engaging with colleagues from multiple disciplines to deliver inspiring, precise, and effective visual communications. You’ll manage your own workload, ensuring quality and accuracy, and prepare final deliverables for client and printer handoff.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality graphic design and visual communications across print and digital formats.
* Prioritise and organise workload effectively, meeting project deadlines.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive and impactful visual output.
* Utilise industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite) to produce exceptional design solutions.
Does this role inspire you?
We are looking for candidates with a degree (or in the process of completing one) in visual communication or a related field, who demonstrate:
* Strong creative and technical skills in print and layout design
* Ability to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
* Familiarity with print production processes and finishes
* Excellent interpersonal skills and team collaboration experience
Essential Skills and Knowledge
* Strong portfolio showcasing design capabilities and attention to detail
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint). Interest in AI a plus but not a requirement
* Solid understanding of design principles and conceptual skills, for both print and digital media
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Self-motivated with a professional and approachable demeanour
