Senior Project Manager/Delivery and Development/ Digital Transformation Manager6 Month Initial Contract - DublinYour new companyThis company is a reputable organisation within the public sector based in Dublin.Your new roleConduct feasibility studies as input to Project Request Documentation for Programme Governance Board approval.Fully manage the project management lifecycle incorporating Project Request, Initiation & Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Control and Closedown stages.Prepare and manage appropriate project plans including all resources in relation to delivery of outputs to meet milestones and overall project delivery date.Give guidance to the team and the business stakeholders on solutions available to support best business practice, maximise efficiencies and minimise operational and technical risk.Provision of the requisite project structure, team composition/skillsets and management controls required to effectively report on, manage and subsequently deliver quality deployments on time and to cost.Manage and produce status reporting, change control logs, issues and risk logs.Effectively manage escalation processes where appropriate.Adhere to internal QA requirements for project management.Work closely with multidisciplinary team including business stakeholders, IT project resources and senior management to build relationships and ensure effective delivery of projects.Work closely with external vendors ensuring value for money is achieved to deliver project objectives.Conduct post-implementation reviews in order to draw out lessons learnt.Contribute to the continuous improvement of Project Management and Programme Management Office methodology, processes and procedures.Undertake such other duties and responsibilities as may be determined by the Programme Management Office.Deliver project artefacts such as; Project Request, Project Initiation document, Work Breakdown Structure, Schedule, Closeout Document.Liaise with technical SMEs and business stakeholders, communicating at level appropriate to their field of expertise.Manage project change, through assessment and evaluation of the project impact, liaising with team members and approvers.Undertaking other duties and responsibilities as may be determined by the Finance Manager.What you'll need to succeedDegree qualification (minimum Level 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications) or equivalent in a discipline deemed relevant by the Authority for the post of Senior Project Manager.PMP or PRINCE2 or equivalent Project Management qualification7+ years direct experience in project managing IT technology and business related projectsDemonstrate experience of working within Regulation environmentIdentifies, plans for and implements change projects and initiatives effectively in collaboration with othersCan deliver results in challenging situations with and through others, strives to exceed expectations and creates as much value as possibleCritically seeks information and researches, exploring a range of potential sources, to ensure that a broad set of inputs, both quantitative and qualitative, are used to inform decisions and recommendationsDevelops and delivers key messages and documentation based on quality inputs and consultation with others. Presents information in an authentic, clear, and easy-to-understand way that is impactful and tailored to the needs of the audienceStrong experience with stakeholder management, with project controls, with project governance/guidelines, vendor management, budget control and more.What you'll get in returnPay rate between €60K- 72K per annum - pro rata (Dependent on experience).Opportunity to work with a reputable organisation within the public sector.EligibilityCurrently living in Ireland.Flexible to work in a hybrid setting in Dublin.Currently holding an EEA passport or valid Stamp 4 visa. (Visa must be for duration of contract).Immediate starter (if possible).
