Sales Executive Job Title
Main Purpose of Job:
We are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive to join our team, within the Sales department at Volvo Galway.
The role requires you to work as part of the sales team, to deliver the highest level of satisfaction to internal and external customers by continually striving to meet sales and profit opportunities via the sales of vehicles, finance, and insurance products.
Role Responsibilities:
* Actively prospect for new customers using databases and follow up on every sales opportunity through website leads, customer enquiry calls, and phone conversations.
* Follow the sales process to achieve maximum results from available sales opportunities.
* Achieve individual profit objectives set by the General Manager.
* Provide expert advice to new and existing customers regarding various products available with vehicle sales.
* Participate in external promotional activities to raise the profile of the brand and generate sales opportunities.
* Qualify customer needs and present dealership products and services.
* Establish the most appropriate funding arrangement for customers according to FCA regulations.
* Conduct structured and professional vehicle handovers in accordance with vehicle handover checklists and customer packs.
* Maintain comprehensive product knowledge of all vehicles, prices, promotions, funding, and taxation.
* Maintain good relationships and regular contact with customers before and after sales.
* Handle customer issues and complaints, resolving them to mutual satisfaction.
* Provide completed deal files to the sales administration department.
* Update customer contact data on Kerridge (CRM System) daily.
* Perform administrative tasks, including relevant paperwork and reports.
The Person:
* 1-2 years experience in a Sales environment, Motor industry experience desirable but not essential.
* Strong communication skills with internal and external customers, suppliers, and manufacturers.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, Email).
* Experience of using Kerridge (CRM System) is desirable but not essential.
* Ability to prospect and qualify customers effectively.
* Ability to present and sell the unique selling points of all products.
* Ability to manage and close existing deals while cultivating new opportunities.
* Strong attention to detail with administrative functions.
* Time Management skills.
* Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
* Full clean drivers license is essential.
