Our subsidiary Veolia Ireland is looking for a Junior Operations Engineer.
Job Responsibilities:
* Compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
* Provide support to General Manager and Plant Managers with existing Operate & Maintain (O&M) contracts.
* Work with the General Manager to identify claims, give timely notice and support in defending against claims for accelerations, disruption or losses.
* Strong written communication abilities, and the ability to negotiate a strong commercial position for the company are essential.
* Exposure to the process of estimating, pricing and quantity surveying on contract variations and assisting the project team on projects.
* Working with the General Manager and Design Build (DB) team to develop bids and respond to tenders.
* Support the preparation of monthly client reports with the Plant Managers.
* Support the preparation of client billing with the Plant Managers.
* Support operational sites with implementation of quality and safety standards systems (VMR, LRQA etc.).
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Process Engineering or similar.
Skills expected: Strong IT Skills, Communication Skills, Strong Attention to Detail.
