IT Support Engineer
Join a growing team in Co Kildare as an IT Support Engineer. Reporting to the IT Infrastructure & Network Manager, you will deliver high-quality technical support to approximately 250 end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide IT Helpdesk support to 250 users managing Microsoft 365 WAN/LAN networks, Firewalls, VMWare and Windows Server.
* Deploy and support Windows 10/11, manage OS and software updates/patching, and ensure business applications function correctly.
* Maintain and support local and wide area networks, ensuring IT security best practices are implemented and maintained.
* Assist with updating and testing the organization's Business Continuity Plan as required.
Requirements:
* 12 years of experience in an IT support or technician role.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communicator with solid technical knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.
* Experience managing and supporting LAN/WAN networks.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills:
* Strong understanding of IT security best practices.
* Knowledge of network management tools.
* Experience with cloud-based services.
