Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellowships in Earth, Atmospheric & Planetary Sciences
The Department of Earth, Atmospheric & Planetary Sciences offers distinguished postdoctoral fellowships to support exceptional early-career scientists pursuing research in our diverse disciplines. Fellows are encouraged to collaborate with faculty and receive mentorship from a dedicated host.
Program Overview
Each year, we appoint new fellows through a competitive process. The two-year appointment includes:
* $64,000 annual stipend
* Full health, dental, and vision insurance
* $5,000 annual allowance for research and relocation expenses
Named Fellowships
We offer the Crosby Fellowship, the Houghton Fellowship, and the Lorenz Fellowship. Houghton fellows also participate in educational activities, as determined by their faculty mentor.
