The Position
We are seeking a Tax Director with a minimum of 5 years' practice experience to join our team in Limerick.
This opportunity allows you to help lead a dynamic and growing team.
You will work closely with a large portfolio of indigenous owner-managed and internationally owned businesses across various industries, including technology, R&D, manufacturing, distribution, retail, transport, and many with an international focus.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing the team in maintaining and developing relationships with clients, including coordination of service offerings from other departments.
* Ensuring payment and return filing deadlines are met for clients across all tax heads.
* Working with Partners to advise clients on suitable business structures, M&A, and succession planning opportunities.
* Acting as a key member of an integrated client service team on a wide range of assignments, including tax advisory projects.
* Contributing towards collective targets for billing, net fee income, and cash collection, as well as personal and firm-wide goals.
* Involvement in business development and marketing initiatives at firm, department, and team levels.
Ideal Candidate:
* CTA qualified and a qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years working in practice.
* In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in interpreting Irish Tax legislation, relevant commentary, and case law.
* Experience managing client relationships and projects to completion.
* Fluent English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Excellent organisational and planning capabilities.
* Ability to work to deadlines and deliver under pressure.
* Excellent computer-literacy skills, particularly in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
