Roscommon with the view to progress to Maintenance Technician and then Troubleshooter level at our SVP3 and SV02 Hub which incorporates multiple technologies across 5 customer sites across the West of Ireland.As a Service Technician, you will perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and inspections on the customers wind farms.This is an opportunity to be part of a growing team within a dynamic business, delivering innovation to the renewable energy.Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:Electrical/Mechanical scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on varied wind turbinesCoordinates and accomplishes defined service operations and/or resolves product issues for customers equipmentAssisting the team in the completion contractual extra scopes including Turbine Mounted Safety Equipment (TMSE), Crane and Lift inspection and maintenanceEnsure compliance with Siemens Gamesa standards in relation to Environment Health and Safety (EHS), Quality and Service deliverySupport for the welfare of technicians whilst on site and escalation of any issues relating to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), transportation and equipmentProvide accurate reporting into and utilization of Monitoring Operations and Registration System (MORS) database and other electronic workflow systemsSupervising the Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) team members, 3rd party technicians, contractors, and sub-contractors for various required scope deliveryWhat you need to make a differenceA passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
