How you'll make an impact • Build relationships with clients, elevating yourself to a 'trusted advisor' status.
• Prepare quality, accurate client documents, obtain renewal terms and seek to provide alternative quotations to deliver best outcome for clients.
• Handle any mid-term adjustments in a proactive and response manner.
• Ensure all client details are recorded accurately and entered onto the system.
• Expertly handle queries about client policies; whether it's with your client directly or their insurers.
• Confirm cover with relevant insurers, process policies and chase up outstanding documentation as necessary.
• Prepare debit notes and summaries of cover whilst ensuring the secure delivery of policy documentation from insurers.
Check the documentation prior to sending to your clients with a keen eye for detail.
• Take care of account queries and credit control matters promptly highlighting any concerns where needed.
• Align with key legal and regulatory policies, safeguarding you and the business.
About you • MSc in Insurance and Risk Management
• This is an MCC role and the minimum mandatory requirement is Approved Product Advisor
• Knowledge and understanding of the commercial insurance market, products and services
• Excellent attention to detail with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders at various levels throughout the business.
• Maintain Minimum Competency Code and annual CPD requirements.
• Tactical negotiation and influencing skills with internal/external stakeholders
• Proven rapport-building experience with internal/external stakeholders
• Evidence of effectively prioritising risks to manage concurrent workflow
• Able to identify potential problems and seek advice/consultation when required
