Position: HR Business Partner
Reporting To: Divisional Head of HR
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with the HR leadership team and key business leaders to design and execute strategic people plans that align with business objectives.Manage key employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, sickness absence, and capability issues.Lead and deliver HR initiatives and strategic projects in collaboration with various HR teams, such as Reward, Talent, and Learning & Development (L&D).Ensure HR programs and processes align with both business and HR strategies, optimizing employee engagement and performance.Key Duties: Strategic People Plans: Partner with the Head of HR and senior leadership to create and implement people strategies that support business goals, foster high performance, and improve employee engagement.Employee Relations Management: Act as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, managing disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, and capability cases. Provide guidance to managers and escalate issues when needed.Stakeholder Collaboration: Maintain close relationships with various business areas to ensure HR strategies are aligned with business needs. Act as a sounding board for emerging HR issues and share insights with the wider HR team.Interpersonal Skills: Able to engage and build relationships at all levels of the organization, including senior leaders. Comfortable challenging decisions and providing constructive feedback.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to listen, understand, and convey complex HR matters in an accessible manner.Problem-Solving and Sensitivity: Demonstrates a high level of sensitivity when handling employee issues and can effectively balance empathy with assertiveness.This role would suit an experienced HR professional with a strategic mindset, excellent people management skills, and a strong understanding of employee relations. The ideal candidate should be confident in leading and implementing HR initiatives that influence business success while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels.
