Job Description:
The Access to Care Team provides end-to-end administration support to the hospital and its functions, managing queries, telephone calls, and correspondence for areas such as Front of House, Admissions, Outpatient clinics & Medical Records.
Key Responsibilities:
* Efficiently process all Access to Care functions throughout the Hospital.
* Project a professional company image through contact with patients, staff, and visitors.
Reception Duties:
* Deliver patient-centered excellence to all patients and stakeholders.
* Manage contractor, visitor, and patient pathways daily.
Admissions Responsibilities:
* Ensure smooth running and admission of all patients attending the admissions desk.
* Work closely with Clinical teams, Consultants, and UPMC Aut Even Hospital General Manager.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Manage Healthlink, the health mail platform.
* Liaise with Theatre scheduling and medical records team on patient bookings.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Excellent customer care and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of Microsoft packages and Hospital Administrative Systems is advantageous.
