As a IT Applications Analyst (MES) you will be in a business-facing role responsible for the configuration, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing support of our MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) areas.
A typical day might include, but is not limited to, the following:
1. Coordinating across business departments and stakeholders to gather and implement enhancement requests.
2. Identifying and resolving system issues and appropriately communicating items to management, business process owners, and users.
3. Responsible for IT Applications documentation including converting User Requirement Specifications to a Detail Design Specification, writing Configuration Test Plans, and summary reports.
4. Configuring reports; tabular, trend, and labels.
5. Performing daily business administrative tasks related to functional support and general user account administration.
6. Providing SME support and working closely with functional departments on projects to develop, implement, and enhance the system.
7. Providing application assistance prior to, during, and post Regulatory/Partner inspections.
8. Processing IT Applications change control requests.
9. Working with Validation and Quality departments to ensure IT Applications are implemented following the development life cycle approach.
10. Training other IT Applications employees.
11. Coordinating with other IT Applications team members to implement the system in an efficient manner.
12. Providing end-user support for IT Applications including troubleshooting problems at the application server level.
13. Participating or may lead IT Applications systems security access and periodic audit trail reviews.
14. Contributing in classification and risk assessments of data types.
15. Extracting, analyzing, and interpreting data from Oracle databases.
16. Using Oracle tools to perform data analysis tasks, such as SQL Developer and Oracle Data Miner and creating automated data reports using Oracle database systems.
17. Using Oracle and application performance monitoring tools to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Oracle database performance and capacity.
This role may be for you if:
1. You have experience with technical writing and process mapping.
2. You possess good verbal and written communication skills.
3. You have experience in project management.
To be considered for this opportunity, you should have a BS/BA/BEng in Information Technology or a related field and 2 years of relevant experience working in a similar role. We may consider experience in lieu of education; level decided upon completion of the interview process. Project Management Experience and professional qualification preferred.
