Chartered Engineer Opportunity in Forensic Engineering
We are seeking a skilled Chartered Engineer to join our team in Forensic Engineering. This is an excellent opportunity for career progression with an engineering company based in Ireland, renowned for its excellence.
You will have the autonomy to conduct inspections at accident locations, including roads, factories, buildings, and machinery, while working closely with our Forensic and Managing Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough inspections at accident locations
* Photograph relevant areas and equipment/vehicles
* Record dimensions and perform testing as required
* Research regulations, standards, and guidelines
* Create technical reports
* Advise clients on liability
* Deliver evidence and face cross-examination as an expert witness in court cases
Required Experience:
* Hold an NFQ Level 8, 9, or 10 qualification in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Fire)
* Qualified Chartered Engineer is highly desirable
* At least 5-10 years of experience in disciplines such as expert witness testimony, road construction and repair, road traffic accident collision analysis, and more
* Hold a full driving license and own transport
