Job Overview:
Burns Car Sales, a leading provider of vehicles and related services, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for customers and visitors, ensuring they are welcomed warmly and directed efficiently. This role is key in maintaining smooth operations by managing front desk tasks, answering inquiries, and supporting administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and welcome visitors, customers, and clients upon arrival.
* Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and professional manner.
* Handle customer inquiries and provide accurate information about products and services.
* Manage the front desk and ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable.
* Schedule appointments and coordinate with various departments for customer services.
* Assist with clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
* Process payments and issue receipts for services rendered.
* Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
* Maintain office supplies and coordinate orders when necessary.
* Support the sales and service teams with administrative tasks when required
Qualifications:
* Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
* Professional appearance and a positive, welcoming attitude.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
* Knowledge of the automotive or commercial vehicle industry is a plus.
* Experience using office management software and phone systems.
