DUTIES:-
The Temporary Assistant Community Centre Attendant will be required to carry out the following duties (but not limited to):-
Security of premises
1. Ensure that the premises are secured.
2. Monitor CCTV system
3. Liaise with School Caretaker
4. Maintain contact with security / monitoring company
5. Ensure that all user groups sign in on arrival and sign out on departure
Supervision/Patrolling of premises
6. Ensure premises are monitored efficiently
7. Carry out regular patrols of the facility.
8. Liaise with other staff members in the efficient management of the facility
Reception duties
9. Answer the telephone and maintain and ensure that all messages are dealt with efficiently.
10. Building Services Co-ordinator must be polite and friendly to all callers while on the telephone.
11. A phonebook log of all numbers necessary on a daily/weekly basis for outgoing calls must be kept at reception and updated regularly.
12. Typing and formatting of documents (e.g.) timetables.
Maintenance Duties
13. Carry out all maintenance duties necessary on the premises
14. Carry out regular check on all BMS equipment
15. Ensure all systems are maintained regularly
Grounds Maintenance
16. Liaise with the school Care taker in developing a grounds maintenanceprogram
17. Ensure the grounds are cleaned daily
18. Ensure all weeds and debris are removed
Administration duties
19. Prepare invoices for all user groups and send out at the end of each month
20. Maintain accurate records of all user groups and pricing structures
21. Carry out any additional administration duties that may be required from time to time.
Set up rooms as required
22. Ensure that rooms are left ready for school/community use.
23. Ensure safety procedures are applied when stacking tables and chairs.
24. Liaise with all user groups regarding allocation of space etc
Documentation on the project
25. Ensure that all records are kept locked in the filing cabinet provided
26. Record all accidents/ grievances in the Report Book.
27. Ensure that all maintenance manuals are kept in a secure place in the office
Evacuation & Emergency Procedures
28. Be fully familiar with the health and safety policies and procedures and ensure that the appropriate procedures are applied in the event of an emergency
29. Participate in all fire evacuation drills.
