Job Summary
The Quality Engineer will maintain and improve all quality systems, monitoring production process compliance to implemented process controls.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
1. Ensure continued compliance with Regulatory Standards:
o ISO 13485 & MDSAP
o ISO 14000
o Quality Plans and Risk Management Documents
2. Monitor production process for compliance to implemented process controls:
o Trend analysis of data from the controls
o Potential improvements for review with engineering
o Areas for Improvement to senior management
3. Ensure area of responsibility is covered in your absence.
4. Support NCR meetings to handle internal and customer concerns.
5. Review and approve documents:
o Validations
o Change Requests and Document Revisions
o Non Conformance Reports
o Internal Audits
o Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA)
o Deviation Requests
6. Project meeting attendance as required.
7. Attend daily cell meetings.
8. Prepare information for KPI and Management Review meetings.
9. Be an active member of the Integer New Ross team.
10. Comply with Integer behavioural standards.
Skills and Knowledge
* Ability to communicate and work with people inside and outside the department.
* Good communicator (written and oral).
* Ability to train and lead where required.
* Ability to co-ordinate, plan and organise in a timely manner.
* Knowledge of Statistical and Quality Improvement methods.
* Good technical report writing skills.
* Rigorous attention to detail.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
* Degree with strong engineering, science or quantitative content.
* Experience in analysis and reporting using Minitab, Power BI or equivalent would be an advantage.
