About the Role:
In healthcare, evolution doesn’t just happen. It takes innovation, imagination, and a passion for solving problems in new and better ways. As a Senior Business Process Consultant, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting of operational performance metrics through data analytics. This challenging role relies on your ability to effectively analyze performance and identify opportunities that will support leadership in delivering critical business results.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Analyzing Business Processes:
Evaluate current business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement; use data analytics to understand process performance and pinpoint bottlenecks.
2. Data Collection and Analysis:
Collect complex data from various sources and business departments for analysis; use statistical tools to interpret data sets, identifying trends and patterns that can inform business decisions.
3. Providing Insights and Recommendations:
Present data-driven insights to stakeholders using data visualization techniques; propose solutions and strategies to address business challenges based on data analysis.
4. Designing and Implementing Improvements:
Develop and implement new processes or enhance existing ones to boost efficiency and productivity; create detailed project plans for process changes and oversee their execution.
5. Change Management:
Ensure smooth transition and adoption of new processes within the organization; continuously monitor the effectiveness of new processes and make necessary adjustments.
6. Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate with stakeholders to gather input and secure buy-in for process changes; prepare reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
Required Qualifications:
* Proven previous experience as a Business Process Consultant or similar role within a large matrix environment.
* Experience in gathering and analyzing data, effectively presenting data to senior stakeholders.
* Significant operations metric analytics and reporting experience.
* Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and balance multiple priorities and projects.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to leadership.
Skills Required:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in data visualization tools.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies.
* Organizational Skills.
* Previous hands-on experience in SQL.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Healthcare experience.
* Experience working across multiple geographies.
* Understanding of the US healthcare system, billing of medical claims and associated data environments.
* Report designing and development in Tableau.
