Your new company is with a global not-for-profit organisation based in Dublin City Centre.
About the Role
You will be part of a busy finance team and report directly to the financial controller. The role is hybrid working after training, with flexible start times. It is a permanent position that offers pension and healthcare contributions after completion of probation.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain the creditors and debtors ledger
* Assist with preparation of month and year-end financial reports
* Conduct bank reconciliations and liaise with external auditors
* Deal with queries and process payment runs
* Prepare VAT returns and assist with payroll preparation
Requirements
* Over 4 years experience as a senior accounts assistant or bookkeeper in a busy finance team
* Not for profit experience is preferred
* AACA/CIMA or ACA Part Qualified or have an ATI qualification
* Experience in a busy finance team and ability to work well under pressure
* Great attention to detail and strong teamwork skills
* Good accounting software experience and proficiency in Excel
