We are currently recruiting for a Senior (MI) Analyst to join our finance & management information team on a contract basis. Reporting to the MI Analytics & Data Warehouse Manager, you will be able to develop your career using the latest BI, development, and support technologies.
The AXA Finance MI team is responsible for providing end-to-end business analyses and data to all Business units. This team is the centre of excellence for the production of all business and management information and is currently developing new monthly and weekly performance measurement reports for reporting to the CEO, the executive team, and relevant management teams throughout the business.

What you will be doing:
1. Assist in the preparation of weekly/monthly management information to strict deadlines, ensuring completeness and accuracy of results.
2. Building, developing, and maintaining dashboards and reports using the PowerBI platform.
3. Data Related Activities - Data Modelling, Extraction, Analysis, and Interpretation of data.
4. Assist in partnering with strategic business units supporting analysis and interpretation.
5. Update dashboards and management reports to reflect business actions clearly and concisely.
6. Completes data control checks and reconciliations.
7. Good understanding of Data Warehouse modelling techniques.
8. Work on ad-hoc business projects as they arise under the guidance of more senior members of the team/unit managers.
Qualifications
1. Minimum 3 years' experience in business operations and/or Finance.
2. Completed a business degree or IT qualification.
3. Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs.
4. I.T. literate with highly developed PC skills including proficiency in Excel (e.g., large data set manipulation).
5. Experience of ETL development utilizing the Microsoft stack and SQL programming skills.
6. Excellent skills in presenting and communicating information and trends.
7. Knowledge of numerous areas of the business is beneficial but not essential.
8. Demonstrated willingness to learn new skills and BI tools (PowerBI).
9. Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
10. Flexible and prepared to undertake other duties including ad hoc projects as required by Finance Management.
