Over-The-Counter Derivative Pricing Analyst

About you:
1. Enthusiastic graduate with a degree/masters in any relevant field, or previous work experience ( – year) in quantitative finance.
2. Preferred fields of study include: Finance; Mathematics; Business; Economics; Engineering; Data Analytics.
3. Motivated, dependable team player with the ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office package, particularly Excel.
6. Excellent analytical, organisational and time management skills.

What we do:
OTC Derivative Valuations is a global team that supports several functions across numerous business lines. We are responsible for valuing Over-The-Counter derivative assets (including credit derivatives; interest rate swaps and FX/equity options) for inclusion in the NAV production process for mutual and hedge fund accounting teams globally and driving margin calls as part of our collateral management business.
The OTC Derivative Valuations team is required to:
7. Complete the daily pricing of OTC assets and price exception validation for a variety of clients within a tight, deadline driven environment.
8. Ensure an excellent service standard, maintain a flow of communication, build relationships, and continuously manage workflow with internal and external stakeholders.
9. Support the take-on of new clients and onboarding of new business for existing clients.

Your role:
Within the OTC Derivatives Valuations team, the Pricing Analyst plays a pivotal role in the daily functions of the team. Your responsibilities will include:
10. Completing daily and monthly OTC asset pricing utilising your analytical skills. Applying your problem-solving ability to ensure valuation breaks/exceptions are accurately inspected and that outstanding issues are resolved.
11. Ensuring the integrity of the security master data on the OTC database with a strong focus on attention to detail.
12. Representing the OTC Valuations team when dealing with internal/external stakeholders to test new assets and launch new clients and portfolios.
13. Using your time management skills to ensure that all queries are thoroughly investigated and dealt with promptly.
14. Collaborating with colleagues and offering new points of view to achieve team goals.
15. Suggesting and implementing process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency while eliminating risk.
