Business Analyst - Range of Daily Rate Contracts - Nationwide
Morgan McKinley are currently supporting a number of our key clients as they look to add additional capability in the form of experienced Business Analysts to support a variety of live projects across the technology sector. These assignments will vary in length from 3 - 18 month contracts and offer hybrid working arrangements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Assisting the business with project scope documents through reviewing & analysing.
2. Planning, organising and managing the requirements gathering process.
3. Elicit requirements through workshops, process analysis and observation & many more methods
4. Document agreed requirements on-time, in line with scope & goals of a project to ensure benefits are realised as early as possible.
5. Prioritise requirements based on feasibility and business need, ensure a minimum viable approach is always adhered to.
6. Effective communication to internal stakeholders throughout a project.
7. Document/analyse change requests as required by a project.
8. Support development, system testing and user acceptance testing during a project.
9. Effectively track & record time spent on projects.
10. Bring new ways of doing things through innovation to ensure you & your team are moving forward.
11. Mapping out As-Is processes and creating new To-Be processes
The successful candidate will have:
12. 3-5+ years of experience as a business analyst, working as subject matter expert across a broad range of business analysis elements
13. Solutions orientated with advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
14. Proven experience as a Business Analyst within a professional setting such as financial services, Insurance, Consulting, Pharmaceutical and FMCG.
15. Experience with Lean / Six Sigma methodologies.
16. Strong desktop, IT and systems skills required, and an ability to liaise and translate between technical and non-technical departments.
17. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
18. Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise tasks.
19. Strong organisational and time management skills.
20. Ability to work proactively and independently to deliver high quality and on time.
