About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly, dynamic, and supportive multi-disciplinary team in Dublin South Hospital as a Speech and Language Therapist.
Responsibilities:
* Conducting assessments to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
* Designing and implementing individualized therapy plans based on assessment results.
* Providing therapy sessions to clients, both one-on-one and in group settings, using evidence-based techniques.
* Evaluating, monitoring and documenting client progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
* Collaborating with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure consistent and holistic care.
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
* Registered with CORU as a Speech and Language Therapist in Ireland.
* Dysphagia qualification to accredited level by IASLT.
* 3 years of full-time post-qualification clinical experience working with adults.
* At least 1 year of full-time experience working within a Neuro-disability setting or a Mental Health setting with adults.
Working Conditions:
* Mode of Working: On-site
* Contract: Permanent, full-time. Part-time hours are also available.
* Working Hours: 37 hours weekly (for full-time)
