Description of Role:
Our client, a healthcare distributor, is now seeking a Customer Service Manager to join their busy and successful team. This is a new role created as a result of growth and expansion. This is a great opportunity for an experienced service manager or team lead to work with a very successful and thriving SME.
The Service Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Service Team to deliver a high level of customer service. The role will be responsible for a field-based team of service engineers and an in-house team of repair techs and customer service representatives.
This Customer Service Manager will be responsible for developing service strategies, building strong customer relationships, monitoring performance, and ensuring the team meets targets.
The Service Manager works closely with the Technical Lead to ensure that service quality and compliance are maintained at all times.
Managing a team of 10+ (field-based and in-house), this role will require an enthusiastic and energetic service manager who enjoys collaboration and developing teams.
This role will suit a team leader who is comfortable working in an open and collaborative organisation and who is ambitious to develop further.

Minimum Requirements:
* Qualification in business or related field
* Previous experience in leading a services business
* Strong leadership experience managing and developing a team
* Strong customer focus
* Good business acumen
* Ability to analyse data and make strategic decisions
* Proficiency in CRM/ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite
* High level of integrity and professionalism
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
* Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
* Flexibility and adaptability are essential
