Our Concrete Products and Aggregates business is a high performance and profitable business unit supporting our Irish customers. At Kilsaran, we are trusted by businesses and contractors alike to produce quality construction materials that are fundamental in the creation of our national infrastructure, including large commercial buildings, domestic and agricultural construction, office blocks and major road networks.
Responsibilities:
Complete all scheduled collections and deliveries, ensuring efficient service for our customers and facilities.
Verify delivery safety and respect customer property, consulting with the customer, local Manager, or Transport Manager if necessary.
Conduct a check of each delivery with the customer and obtain the required signature.
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks, including checks specific to electric vehicles.
Comply with Tachograph Law and Driver Hour Limits.
Maintain vehicle and cab cleanliness, ensuring the truck is presentable for trade shows and promotional events.
Promptly report incidents or accidents per the company's reporting procedures.
Provide additional support in the yard as required by the Location Manager.
Note: The successful candidate will initially be assigned to an electric vehicle, with the possibility of reassignment to a diesel vehicle based on operational needs.
Skills Required:
Preferably a minimum of 3 years' HGV driving experience.
Experience driving electric vehicles is a bonus.
Clean relevant Drivers Licence.
Up to date CPC Driver qualification.
Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
Valid Safe Pass.
