The Role
Would you like to be part of a successful and rewarding business? Following recent expansion in Ireland, Dreams and Sofatime are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our growing team at our new Distribution Centre based in Tallaght.
Main Accountabilities
Leading the distribution team by:
1. Lead, motivate and inspire the Distribution team, delegate and ensure the team have a clear understanding of direction.
2. Support the warehouse manager and act as an integral part of the warehouse management team.
3. Deputise for the warehouse manager in their absence.
4. Challenge the Distribution team on customer complaints and present learnings from their issues.
5. Provide effective coaching and enforce consistent delivery of REACH principles.
6. Enforce company rules and regulations.
7. Enforce health standards, safety and security procedures.
8. Deliver engaging and motivating team briefs supported by a strong rapport with the distribution team and ensure we are continually improving.
Maintain warehouse and vehicle standards through:
1. Hold the distribution team to account on internal and external vehicle standards.
2. Coach warehouse supervisors on achieving consistently high standards in their areas.
3. Maintain standards throughout the entire Duncrue complex including, maintaining plants, locks, reporting issues, de-icing etc.
4. Coordinate and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of products.
5. Responsible for all aspects of stock movement.
6. Ensure Distribution team wrap and label products appropriately.
7. Constantly review and improve standards of health and safety and security in the work environment.

Essential Criteria
1. Previous warehouse experience, ideally in a supervisory or managerial role.
2. Good IT skills and knowledge of warehouse systems.
3. FLT licence.
