Cpl Healthcare has formed a partnership with a reputable client to improve the quality of life for older individuals who wish to maintain their independence and receive support in a safe living environment.
We are seeking a Residential Manager to lead and manage the delivery and ongoing development of an assisted living residential service for older persons in conjunction with members and volunteers.
The job holder will provide regular updates on the service's progress to The Conference / Management Committee. They will be line managed by the National Children and Family Services Manager.
Key Requirements:
* A third-level qualification at Level 7 NQF or higher in a relevant discipline, such as Social Care, Social Work, or Healthcare, with at least 3 years' post-qualification experience working in a leadership/management role in services for older persons.
* OR at least 6 years of experience in a leadership/management role in services for older persons.
Other Essential Skills:
* A knowledge of policy and best practice issues pertaining to older persons, person-centred care, and key agencies that work on behalf of older persons.
* Understanding of health and safety requirements in this area.
* Knowledge of HSE standards for Adult Community Care and Older Person Services.
* Experience working directly with older persons or this age group in a support and/or residential setting.
* Leadership experience is essential.
* Experience in programme or group coordination focusing on personal and/or educational and/or emotional and/or social development.
* Community/voluntary sector/social care experience.
This position requires a salary of approximately £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
