Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to oversee complex construction projects across Ireland, the UK, and the USA. The ideal candidate will have expertise in procurement, planning, cost analysis, and contract management.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage annual construction budgets exceeding €100m.
* Lead procurement, planning, subcontractor negotiations, and cost analysis for multiple projects.
* Develop and manage tender documentation, contractor/supplier selection, and contract administration.
* Analyze tender returns, specifications, and alternative options to ensure project value and quality.
* Present recommendations and issue contract documentation to stakeholders.
* Monitor project costs, cash flows, and prepare detailed cost reports.
* Act as Project Surveyor on various projects, ensuring compliance with statutory health and safety regulations.
* Negotiate budgets and agree on final accounts with stakeholders, including landowners and planning authorities.
* Prepare tender pre-qualification documents and monitor packages on-site.
* Engage with cross-functional teams to maximize project value while maintaining quality and adhering to deadlines.
Achievements and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
* Proven experience working on high-value projects, demonstrating exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
