Technical Support Specialist – Co. Mayo/Hybrid
Our client, one of Europe’s leading innovators in Retail & Hospitality Technology, is currently looking for a talented Technical Support Specialist to join their team and provide technical support for clients across the UK & Ireland.
This is an entry level role in IT providing 1st Line support across a variety of technical issues with full training provided. Due to the customer facing nature of the role, strong communication skills are essential
The Role:
·Provide Technical Support and user training on Retail and Hospitality IT Systems to client companies across the UK & Ireland via phone and email
·Identify priority issues and work with support and R&D teams to troubleshoot or escalate as necessary
·Deliver frequent updates to clients on ongoing issues managing a balance of new cases with open, ongoing cases
·Accurately process and record call transactions using a computer and designated CRM software
·Offer alternative solutions where appropriate with the objective of retaining customers’ and clients’ business
·Organize ideas and communicate effectively within team and department as well as with external stakeholders
·Follow up and make scheduled call backs to customers where necessary
The Ideal Candidate:
·Interest in computer hardware and software, and a willingness to learn
·Proven track record in Customer/Technical support
·Experience in Retail/Hospitality IT Systems or EPoS an advantage but not essential
·3rd level IT level 6 or above qualification preferable
·Must be customer focused with good verbal communication skills
