Our client is seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of a key contract. This role involves acting as an internal advocate for the customer, ensuring high-quality service delivery and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract-related matters, including additional projects.
* Oversee daily operations across two sites, ensuring consistent and high-quality service delivery.
* Lead and manage a team of 20+ contracted employees.
* Handle payroll, invoicing, and billing in collaboration with the Finance team.
* Manage recruitment, onboarding, and contract negotiations for all team members.
* Monitor team performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
* Act as the escalation point for client issues, ensuring swift resolution.
* Mentor and support junior team members, fostering professional development.
* Prepare reports for both clients and senior management.
* Lead the preparation and submission of tender documents for contract renewals.
Requirements:
* 10+ years’ experience in the IT sector.
* Proven experience working with Public Sector clients in Ireland.
* 5+ years in a management role, with experience in recruitment, contract negotiation, and performance management.
* Strong background in preparing and submitting tenders for public sector contracts.
* Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
PLEASE NOTE - this is an ad-hoc part-time contract that will suit candidates who are NOT looking for full-time work. On average you would work approx 10 - 12 days per month.
