Join a leading healthcare organisation as a dynamic Property Manager. In this exciting contract role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our extensive property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert property management and advisory services to manage our Estate effectively.
* Assist in planning, managing, and rationalising our existing Estate to ensure optimal use of resources.
* Review and advise on third-party proposals, including developer plans, D&B development options, PPP procurement, and more.
* Advise integrated service area personnel on sourcing and acquiring new facilities that align with their Service Plans.
* Prepare reviews and commentaries on Development Plans from local authorities, in consultation with experts.
* Ensure statutory compliance with Planning and Zoning Regulations for all properties.
* Conduct property suitability assessments and collaborate with internal and external experts as needed.
* Document acquisition and disposal submissions to the Property Review Group and Senior Leadership Team.
* Establish and advise on costs related to property transactions and development proposals.
* Work with the Property Services team to build relationships with estate agents, local authorities, and property management personnel.
* Inspect and review leases and contracts as required.
* Arrange for preparation of title maps, lease maps, and other documents for property-related transactions.
Professional Requirements:
* A proven track record in property management, with a deep understanding of regulatory landscapes and compliance requirements.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
* Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing complex property challenges.
* A high level of technical proficiency to communicate effectively with relevant personnel.
* A detailed knowledge of best practices in Property Management, zoning, and planning objectives.
* Good knowledge of planning and development laws, building regulations, and leadership and teamwork abilities.
Required Qualifications:
* A Level 8 (or higher) qualification in Property Studies, Property Valuation & Management, or Property Economics.
* Membership of the Society of Chartered Surveyors in Ireland, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, or equivalent.
* At least seven years of satisfactory experience in commercial agency, property valuation, transactions, and/or management.
* Experience in managing large property portfolios, financial planning, budgeting, lease management, and asset strategy development.
