Job Summary:
The Lead GSOC Analyst, assigned to a specific client, will be a key member of the client's Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) in Cork Ireland, to ensure 24/7/365 continuous monitoring, event security, and travel management support for the client. This position entails a higher level of responsibility, a greater depth of experience, and includes supervisory duties as needed.
Essential Functions:
1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
2. Operate the GSOC in shift patterns as required.
3. Provide a high level of service to local and remote client sites and staff with an emphasis on the security and safety of client's staff, assets, and information.
4. Monitor and analyze security alarms, notifications, and surveillance systems in real-time to detect and assess potential security incidents.
5. Conduct advanced level event security monitoring and provide timely incident response according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
6. Coordinate travel and journey management by assessing travel risks, providing real-time alerts, and guidance to support employees during travel.
7. Oversee access control operations to ensure only authorized personnel access sensitive areas.
8. Maintain detailed logs and records of all monitored activities, incidents, and responses.
9. Assist in preparing in-depth reports on GSOC activities and identifying trends or potential improvements.
10. Serve as a backup for the GSOC Supervisor during non-working hours to ensure uninterrupted coverage and supervision.
11. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including security personnel, emergency services, and other relevant entities, to ensure effective incident management and mitigation.
12. Lead and mentor Junior GSOC Analysts, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
13. Participate in regular training and development sessions to stay updated on the latest security trends, tools, and best practices.
14. Support the GSOC Manager with additional tasks and responsibilities as required, demonstrating strong leadership and strategic insight.
15. Maintain active awareness of the monitored environment to promote safe and effective working.
16. Maintain a conscientious and proactive approach to achieve excellent standards.
17. All other duties, as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Certifications:
Minimum of 4 years' experience in a security operational role, with exposure to advanced monitoring and incident management. Relevant security-related certifications/qualifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) would be desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
