Junior Systems Analyst/Tester Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a suitably skilled Junior Systems Analyst/Tester to join their team.
The duration of this post is 9 months initially with possible extensions thereafter.
The role is a hybrid working arrangement and is based in South Dublin.
Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an annualised salary of €35,000 - €45,000 based on experience.
Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Systems Analyst to join our team.
This role will support the analysis, implementation, and optimization of clinical information systems while acting as a liaison between clinical end-users and the technical team to ensure our healthcare applications meet operational needs.
This position is ideal for someone eager to dive into systems analysis and testing, playing a crucial role in maintaining the quality and functionality of our clinical applications.
Key Responsibilities: Analyse clinical workflows and identify opportunities for improvement through technology (desirable) Create and maintain system documentation including user guides and standard operating procedures Assist with application testing, including user acceptance testing and regression testing Support the configuration and maintenance of clinical applications Troubleshoot basic system issues and escalate complex problems appropriately Participate in training end-users on new systems and functionality Assist project managers with implementation activities for clinical applications Document and track system enhancement requests from end-users Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, or related field 0-2 years of experience in healthcare IT or clinical systems support Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities Basic understanding of healthcare workflows and terminology Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to translate between technical and clinical language Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with major clinical applications (CPOE, LIS, RIS, etc.)
