Key responsibilities within the role include:
1. Operational: service/set up standards, shift meetings, guest relations, floor presence/management
2. People management: recruitment, training, appraisals, disciplinaries
3. Financial management: staffing costs, maximising sales opportunities, P&L, forecasting, reporting
4. Compliance: Health & Safety, Hygiene, Fire, Safety, Licensing
The successful candidate will be an inspirational leader with at least three years’ experience as Supervisor / Manager of a busy, upscale, high turnover restaurant. Will have a hands-on and enthusiastic managerial style and genuine desire to nurture and develop a happy, high-performing team.
