Electrical Project Engineer
We are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to support a range of engineering and construction projects on a pharmaceutical campus in Dublin.
This role involves overseeing electrical activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure safe execution of work in line with site and regulatory guidelines.
* Participate in all stages of the project lifecycle, from concept to close-out, following established engineering project delivery processes.
* Manage project deliverables, ensuring timely completion and reporting.
* Oversee and plan construction activities in collaboration with contractors, construction managers, and facility stakeholders.
* Lead daily planning meetings and ensure the availability of resources such as materials, staff, and safety plans.
* Review and approve safety documents like RAMS, SPAs, and Permits to Work.
* Inspect installation quality, assist in system walkdowns, and approve as-built drawings.
* Support the commercial team with project cost control.
* Address complex project issues and collaborate with stakeholders to find optimal solutions.
* Contribute to root cause investigations and cross-functional project teams.
Qualifications:
* FETAC Level 6 National Craft Certificate in Electrical or equivalent, with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
* Proven ability to promote a safety culture within the team.
* Experience with electrical testing and certification requirements for large projects.
* Familiarity with biopharmaceutical project environments is a plus.
* Strong knowledge of electrical installations, standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., I.S. 10101, I.S. 3217, I.S. 3218).
* Understanding of mechanical and electrical system interfaces.
* Experience with electrical inspections and regulatory compliance.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
