We are cultivating UnitedHealth Group's next generation of analytical leaders and seeking high-performing, high-potential individuals to help shape the future of healthcare.The early careers team offers an exciting Analytics Development Programme with five tracks: Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Project Management, Product Management, and Data Science.
These roles are aimed at recent graduates eager to leverage their academic analytical experience to make a meaningful impact in healthcare.
Throughout the program, you will be supported by experienced programme leads and managers who will guide you in driving value and efficiency within a large healthcare system.Our program has five tracks: Business Analysis - The conduit between technical data teams and our cross-functional business partnersData Analysis - Using data visualisation and statistics to find and share actionable insightsData Science - Building machine learning models to solve current healthcare challengesProject Management - Support the planning, organisation and direct the completion of a projectProduct Management - Support the management of the development of products While in the programme, you may be tasked with the following:Primary Responsibilities: Develop and implement new processes and enhancementsAnalyse data to identify and solve problems and communicate insights to stakeholdersSupport project and product management effortsProvide subject matter expertise in designing and developing in-house solutionsExtract and analyse data, improving database tools and processesEvaluate and enhance process efficiency to influence changeCollaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic initiativesContribute to research projects aligned with business needsPerform other assigned tasks as needed Your responsibilities will vary based on trackImportant details regarding this programme: This full-time position will be available starting on 29th July Coursework to obtain your current degree must be completed prior to start of employmentDegree must be awarded and verified within 6-8 weeks following the commencement date at your school Employment permit sponsorship is not available for this position You'll be rewarded and recognised for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for potential future roles.Required Qualifications: Currently in final year of obtaining a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Project Management, Business, Finance or other business-related field, or have obtained degree within the last 24 monthsRecent analytics experience such as internships, student clubs, personal projects, research projects or degrees Preferred Qualifications: Experience with technologies such as AI, Machine Learning, Natural Language ProcessingExperience with Python, R, Java, C, Scala or other programming languagesExperience with data discovery and visualisation tools e.g.
Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Business Objects, MicroStrategy, D3/JavaScript visualisationExperience in data manipulation with tools such as SQL, Azure, Spark and/or big data tools, data management or efficient storage methods Existing experience with Process analysis, process improvement, project management Please note you must have the legal right to work and remain indefinitely without any restrictions in the country to which you are making an application.
