About the role
The successful candidate will be part of an established Civil & Structural team. The role offers an opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across multiple sectors, including retail, commercial, renewables, residential, and pharma across all stages of development. You will apply your engineering and experience to carry out feasibility studies, detailed designs, and prepare reports and technical specifications. You will also have the opportunity to be part of a proactive learning environment within a multidisciplinary team.
About you
The role is ideal for professionals with solid construction backgrounds looking for the next step in their career. The successful candidate will have the skills necessary to determine and define the scope of work and deliverables for each project, predicting resources required to complete projects, obtaining permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites. You will have demonstrable experience in thinking creatively and logically to resolve design issues.
Skills and experience
1. A bachelor’s degree in civil and or structural engineering.
2. 2-5 years post-graduate experience in a similar role, preferably consultancy.
3. Self-motivated.
4. Proficient in industry standard civil and structural design software.
5. Demonstrated knowledge of construction & engineering principles.
6. Excellent technical design skills and knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
